Sanaa: The General Directorate of Cultural and Social Activities at the Ministry of Youth and Sports organized a cultural activity for teams from the Education and Civil Service sectors participating in the Martyr President Saleh Al-Samad Football Tournament. This event, held for ministries, government agencies, and institutions, took place during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by key figures including Dr. Mohammed Haj, Director of Cultural and Social Activities at the Ministry of Youth; Waleed Fayez, Director of Libraries; and Abdul Karim Al-Dahhak, Director of Activities in the Higher Education Sector. Lecturer Abdul Hamid Fayez delivered a discussion on the significance of the Holy Quran in national life, emphasizing its role in reforming individuals and building society.
Fayez highlighted the importance of adhering to Quranic values to face challenges and promote morality and righteous conduct. He provided examples demonstrating how adherence to the Quran can reform individuals and contribute to societal development. He also noted that a sincere return to the teachings of the Quran lays the foundation for civilizational advancement and the consolidation of values and ethics.
The event included the screening of a film filled with educational and cultural messages. This interactive atmosphere reflected the spiritual and cultural dimensions of the tournament, enriching its Ramadan program and adding depth to the competitions.
