Ibb: The Women’s Authority in Ibb province organized a cultural competition on Monday in collaboration with the Education Office to commemorate the Martyr’s Anniversary. The event engaged schools from the districts of al-Dhehir, al-Mashanah, and Jeblah, featuring cultural and religious questions centered on the lives and sacrifices of Yemen’s martyrs.
According to Yemen News Agency, Aisha al-Saqqaf, the coordinator of the competition, emphasized the significance of the event, noting that it reflects the growing cultural awareness and civic responsibility in society. She highlighted the role of Yemeni women-whether as mothers, wives, or sisters-in supporting the martyrs, whose sacrifices for their faith and homeland are an inspiration to all.
Al-Saqqaf also called on the community to continue supporting the families of martyrs, underscoring the collective responsibility to honor their contributions and ensure their well-being. The competition served as both a tribute to the martyrs and a reminder of the impo
rtance of maintaining their legacy through education and community engagement.
