Sana'a: Residents of Al-Lajnah Al-Da'imah neighborhood in Al-Hasaba Al-Shamaliyah area of Al-Thawra District, Capital Secretariat, held a cultural evening on Wednesday to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, at the event, Sheikh Saleh Al-Khawlani, a member of the Association of Yemeni Scholars, highlighted aspects of the life and noble biography of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. He noted that commemorating the Prophet's birthday represents an important religious occasion for drawing lessons and guidance from his life and embodying his example in conduct and approach across all aspects of life.
He stressed the importance of expressing joy throughout the community in celebration of the anniversary of the Prophet's birth and mobilizing for strong participation in the major event marking this great occasion, which Yemenis distinguish themselves by commemorating.
Several speeches were also delivered during the evening, emphasizing the importance of celebrating this religious occasion as a spiritual and educational opportunity to recall the noble life of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, his family, to renew commitment to, and emulation of his righteous path, morals, and principles in all aspects of life.
