Cultural Evening Celebrates Summer Course Activities in Hajjah

Hajjah: A cultural evening was held at Al-Shaheed Abu Jawad Al-Abdali Scout School in the Al-Wast area of Abss District, Hajjah Governorate, as part of its summer course activities. The event was attended by the Deputy Governor for Education Affairs, Nabil Al-Jarab, and the district mobilization official, Mohammed Al-Helani. District director Ali Sawan emphasized the significance of summer courses in fostering a spirit of giving, strengthening attachment to Ahl al-Bayt, and reinforcing values of loyalty to Allah, His Messenger, and the leaders of guidance.

According to Yemen News Agency, Sawan explained that these courses offer a chance to enhance youth knowledge in cultural and beneficial scientific fields. They also promote values, morals, cooperation, and brotherhood. Speakers at the event highlighted the role of summer courses in memorizing, reciting, and reflecting on the Holy Qur'an, which contributes to self-purification and building awareness.

The courses also include lessons in the Yemeni Qaida method to improve eloquence and correct reading. These lessons link language to understanding the Book of Allah and enrich Qur'anic culture, reinforcing faith identity and providing protection against soft warfare. Speakers further noted the diverse skill-based and creative activities, behavioral and awareness programs offered by the courses, which help discover talents, refine abilities, and build self-confidence and a sense of responsibility.
