Khudayr: The Security Administration of Khudayr district in Taiz province organized an oratorical cultural evening celebrating the anniversary of Yawm al-Wilayah (Ghadir Day), under the slogan "Whoever I am his master (mawla), then this Ali is his master."

According to Yemen News Agency, the evening was attended by a number of members of the Shura Council, the First Deputy Governor and General Mobilization official, Mohammed Al-Khalidi, the Security Director, Brigadier General Shukri Mahyub, and the district director, Fares Al-Jaradi. The Security Director of the district, Colonel Issam Sabr, affirmed that this occasion is a pivotal milestone in the history of the Islamic nation, when the call of truth rang out at Ghadir Khumm, as the Greatest Messenger (peace be upon him and his family) declared: "Whoever I am his master, then this Ali is his master."

Colonel Sabr explained that the Yemeni people's celebration of this occasion is clear evidence of their commitment to the guardianship (wilayah) of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), pointing out that the security and military achievements realized were the result of uniting hand in hand with the leadership raised by the Messenger at Ghadir Khumm. The evening, attended by a number of commanders of axes and security and military units, directors of executive offices, and social and mobilization figures, featured religious anthems and chants, a poem, the traditional "Al-Bara'" dance, as well as fireworks that lit up the sky of the region.
