Cultural Evening Held in Khawlan District to Celebrate Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

Sana'a: The local authority and mobilization committee in Khawlan District, Sana'a Governorate, in coordination with the district's education sector, organized a cultural evening and a speech event to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event took place in Al-Majza'a village in Bani Shaddad Subdistrict and was attended by several notable figures, including Sana'a Governorate Undersecretary Fares Al-Kahali, Director of the Public Slaughterhouses Corporation branch Sharaf Al-Joufi, District Director Raad Al-Jamali, and Mobilization Officer Saleh Al-Kashouri. Mobilization representative Ibrahim Al-Nono highlighted that commemorating the occasion helps reinforce the values, principles, and moral teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. He described the anniversary as a spiritual occasion to draw lessons from the Prophet's life, deepen commitment to Islamic teachings, renew loyalty to Allah and His Messenger, strengthen solidarity, mutual support, and work to thwart the plans of aggression.

Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of mobilization and active participation in the major central celebration to be held in Sana'a on Tuesday, Rabi' Al-Awwal 12. The celebration is intended to honor the status of the Prophet fittingly.

In another event at Al-Shahid Al-Hamani School in Wadi Malaha, Bani Shaddad, Khawlan District Director Raad Al-Jamali stated that commemorating the Prophet's birthday reflects the Yemeni people's love for and connection to the Messenger of Allah, while promoting awareness of his values and principles of mercy, justice, solidarity, and compassion. Education Sector Officer Mohammed Tamesh remarked that the occasion contributes to reinforcing the values, principles, and moral teachings of the Prophet Muhammad and following his example as the teacher who led his nation from darkness into light.
