Al-qubaytah: The local authority and General Mobilization in Al-Qubaytah district, Lahj province, organized a cultural evening on the occasion of Yawm al-Wilayah (Ghadir Day) for the year 1447 AH, under the slogan "Whoever I am his master (mawla), then this Ali is his master."
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by notable figures including the mobilization official of the province, Jamil Al-Soufi, the Security Director of the province, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Atari, the district security director, Wahid Al-Khidr, the director of the Youth and Sports Office, Younis Shajab, and the head of the guidance sector, Ali Al-Karrar. Military and security leaders, sheikhs, and social figures also participated in the commemoration. The speeches delivered during the event emphasized the importance of adhering to the principle of guardianship (wilayah) and expressing sincere allegiance to God, His Messenger, Imam Ali, and the banners of guidance.
They explained that marking this anniversary reflects the Yemeni people's historical role in supporting the religion of God and their strong connection to Imam Ali. It was noted that Yawm al-Wilayah symbolizes loyalty to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali, and it represents following the path of the Messenger of God.
The speeches highlighted the importance of learning from the biography of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib. They emphasized the significance of the occasion in enhancing religious awareness, consolidating the values of cohesion and unity, adhering to Islamic principles, and evoking collective responsibility in facing challenges.
