Al-sab'een: A cultural and speech event was held on Monday in Al-Sab'een District of the Capital, organized by the 'A and One' Institute to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him and his family) birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, Abdullah Sharaf Al-Din, Head of the Technical Education Sector in the Capital, highlighted the significance of the Prophet's birth, describing him as the light of guidance and the mercy sent to all humanity. He emphasized that the Prophet brought the nation out of darkness, ignorance, and oppression into light and guidance.
Sharaf Al-Din explained that when the nation distances itself from the Prophet and his righteous path, it suffers difficult and humiliating conditions, losing its honor and dignity, and becoming vulnerable to its enemies without any resistance. He cited the ongoing aggression and siege in Gaza as a clear example of this reality.
He affirmed that the sacrifices and honorable stance of the Yemeni people in supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza stem from their deep connection to the Prophet, adherence to his teachings, and following his path in confronting tyrants and oppressors while defending the causes and sanctities of the Islamic nation.
Sharaf Al-Din noted that such activities and events express love, loyalty, and reverence for the Prophet, renewing the commitment to follow his noble path and emulate his morals, values, and principles. He urged everyone to actively participate in the central celebration of the Prophet's birthday.
The evening was attended by Dr. Qais Al-Tal, Head of the Guidance Sector in the Capital, and Imad Shams Al-Din, Head of Technical Education in the district. Cultural activist Ibrahim Al-Bousi and the institute's director, Yusuf Al-Dailami, also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of this religious occasion in the hearts of Yemenis and the importance of commemorating it.
They encouraged the institute's staff and students to strengthen their connection to the Prophet, emulate his teachings, and embody his morals, values, and principles in word and action, calling for honorable participation in the grand event at Al-Sab'een Square to celebrate the birth of the Master of Creation and Messengers.
