Sana'a: A cultural and speech event was held on Wednesday in Al-Wahda District of the Capital, organized by the New Horizon Center, to celebrate the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. During the event, Dr. Zaid Al-Haddour, Deputy Minister of Education for the Secondary Education Sector, highlighted the significance and revered status of this occasion in the hearts of all Muslims. He emphasized the importance of using this anniversary as an opportunity to remind the nation to follow the path of the Prophet, the best teacher of humanity, and to emulate his life.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Haddour noted that celebrating this occasion comes at a time when Yemen faces forces of arrogance and enemies of Islam, while standing in solidarity with the oppressed and vulnerable in Gaza, who are suffering the gravest crimes and collective massacres the world has ever witnessed, in full view of the international community. He denounced the shameful positions of some Arab and Islamic countries toward the brutal Zionist crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza, while praising the Yemeni people's honorable stance in supporting their brothers in Gaza and Palestine despite all challenges.
He also called on everyone to attend the grand central event at Al-Sabeen Square to celebrate the Prophet's birthday with joy and devotion. Abdullah Sharaf Al-Din, Head of the Technical Education Sector in the Capital, stressed that commemorating the Prophet's birthday is an occasion to renew loyalty and love for the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, to follow his example, and to confront enemies along his path. He noted that this anniversary marks the dawn of a new era that illuminated the world with the light of guidance.
The event was attended by Saeed Naji, Director of Inspection at the Ministry of Education; Dr. Qais Al-Tal, Head of the Guidance Sector in the Capital; Abdullah Al-Dharfi, Head of Public Mobilization in the district; Ali Shalabi, Technical Education official; cultural activist Ahmed Bahnan; and New Horizon Center Director Wael Al-Harazi, who highlighted the importance of honoring the birth of the Light and Messenger of Humanity, emulating his teachings, and following his path.
