Dhamar: The Civil Status and Civil Registry Branch in Dhamar province organized a cultural event on Saturday to commemorate the anniversary of a martyr, recognizing those who gave their lives in defense of Yemen’s dignity and sovereignty. Col. Abdulkarim al-Bukhaiti, Director of the Civil Status Branch, addressed attendees, underlining the historical significance of martyrdom in the nation’s narrative.
According to Yemen News Agency, Col. al-Bukhaiti emphasized that marking this anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made by the martyrs and to reaffirm the commitment to support their families. He acknowledged their vital role in defending Yemen’s pride and honor.
Lt. Col. Ali Najm al-Din, Deputy Director of the Branch, also spoke at the event, highlighting the religious, moral, and humanitarian importance of the martyrs’ sacrifices. He urged the community to continue following the martyrs’ example in resisting external aggression, particularly from forces led by the U.S. and Israel
