Cultural Seminar Held in Hodeidah to Commemorate Prophet’s Migration Anniversary

Hodeidah: The General Authority for Guidance Office, along with the Scholars and Students Unit and the Quranic Culture Unit in Hodeidah Governorate, organized a cultural seminar marking the launch of activities commemorating the Prophet's Hijra (migration) anniversary for the year 1448 AH.

According to Yemen News Agency, the seminar was attended by the Governorate Undersecretary Ali Al-Kabari. The Director of the Guidance Office in the governorate, Abdulrahman Al-Warfi, reviewed key milestones from the Prophet's noble biography and the role of the Ansar in supporting the Messenger of Allah, highlighting its relevance to the present reality of the Yemeni people and their positions in supporting the causes of the Islamic nation.

He affirmed that commemorating the Hijra represents a spiritual occasion to draw upon the values and principles established by the Prophet, and a starting point for correcting the conditions of the nation. Al-Warfi stressed the importance of following the example of the Prophet in patience, struggle, and sacrifice, and continuing along the Quranic path to thwart the enemies' plots and embody his morals in various aspects of life.

Ali Somal, head of the Scholars and Students Unit, emphasized the importance of drawing lessons from the Hijra in strengthening cohesion and national unity, noting the role of scholars and preachers in raising societal awareness, protecting youth from destructive ideas, and mobilizing the nation to defend its sanctities.

Mohammed Balghith, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, stated that the Prophet's Hijra represented a pivotal transformation in human history and laid the foundations of an Islamic state based on justice and support for the oppressed.
