Cultural Seminar in Sanhan Explores Significance of Battle of Badr Anniversary

Sanhan: A cultural seminar was held today in the Uzlat Al-Rasul Al-A'dham area of Sanhan and Bani Bahlul District, Sana'a Governorate, on the annual anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr, the "Day of Criterion."

According to Yemen News Agency, cultural activist Mohammed Nashwan highlighted that the 17th of Ramadan, marking the anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr, is a significant historical event in the history of Islam.

He emphasized that the Battle of Badr anniversary is crucial for establishing the foundations of Islam, truth, and justice, while also highlighting its role in defeating the forces of tyranny and disbelief.

The seminar discussed how the Holy Quran refers to the Battle of Badr as the "Day of Criterion," noting its decisive impact on the Islamic nation and the oppressed Muslims both historically and in contemporary times.

The seminar also reflected on the significance of this year's anniversary coinciding with the current challenges faced by the Islamic nation in its confrontation with modern-day powers, specifically highlighting the role of "America and Israel."
