Shu'ub: The Local Council and General Mobilization in Shu'ub District of the Capital Secretariat organized a cultural seminar to commemorate the anniversary of the noble Prophet's Hijra (migration), may the best prayers and most complete peace be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Mohammed Al-Hadrami, and the Mobilization Officer for the district, Abdullah Al-Kawl. The seminar featured a lecture by the Director of the Orphan Care Home, Ahmed Al-Khazan, who discussed the spiritual and educational implications of the noble Hijra and the great meanings it carries of patience, steadfastness, sacrifice, and nation-building.
He reviewed the most important lessons, values, and principles derived from the migration of the Greatest Messenger, as well as the current developments and challenges facing the region, which necessitate awareness, responsibility, and unity of position in confronting the enemies of God, His Messenger, and Islam.
The themes of the seminar emphasized the importance of commemorating unifying religious occasions that strengthen faith identity and entrench the values and principles derived from the biography of the Greatest Messenger (peace be upon him and his family), and following his path and biography in confronting forces of tyranny and arrogance.
The seminar called for broad engagement with purposeful activities and events that serve society, enhance its awareness and connection to the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family), and adhere to the Quranic methodology.
