Sana'a: The local authority, in cooperation with the General Mobilization, the Guidance Sector, and the Scholars Unit in Al-Hali District, Al-Hodeidah Governorate, organized a cultural symposium on the occasion of Ashura and the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) at Al-Aswadi Mosque.

According to Yemen News Agency, the symposium addressed the revolution of Imam Hussein as a faith-based and pivotal moment in the nation's history, offering lessons in confronting injustice and deviation. It linked the events of Karbala to contemporary reality, particularly highlighting the failure and inaction regarding Zionist crimes in Palestine.

The event underscored that the Husseini stance is a benchmark of dignity and honor in challenging tyranny. It emphasized that commemorating Ashura transcends ritualistic practices, serving as an educational and mobilization platform where insights are restored in times of adversity.

Moreover, it was stressed that the banner of Imam Hussein and the banner of Palestine are unified in the same trench of resistance and steadfastness. The symposium emphasized the need to draw inspiration from the meanings of Karbala in confronting injustice and betrayal, advocating for building awareness that strengthens support for the nation's causes, with the Palestinian cause being a priority.
