Marib: A cultural symposium was held in Badbadah district, Marib governorate, to mark the anniversary of the passing of religious scholar Badr al-Din al-Houthi under the slogan 'Badr al-Huda' (The Guiding Light).

According to Yemen News Agency, the symposium explored key aspects of Badr al-Din al-Houthi's life, focusing on his scholarly work, religious activities, and intellectual contributions to promoting Quranic teachings and faith-based awareness. Speakers reviewed major milestones in his career, highlighting his writings, research, and educational efforts, which they said contributed to religious scholarship and public awareness of challenges facing Muslim communities.

Participants described the event as an opportunity to reflect on the values associated with his legacy, including dedication to religious education, service to society, and commitment to his beliefs.
