Customs Authority and National Documentation Center Explore Joint Cooperation

Sana'a: Head of the Customs Authority Eng. Adel Margham met with Head of the National Documentation Center Abdullah al-Sayani to discuss aspects of joint cooperation focused on organizing documents and modernizing the customs archiving system.

According to Yemen News Agency, Margham highlighted the Customs Authority's commitment to leveraging the expertise of the National Documentation Center to develop a systematic working mechanism. This initiative aims to improve the organized documentation of customs data, meet work requirements, and enhance the efficiency of institutional performance.

Margham stressed the necessity of advancing the archiving system to facilitate easier access to information and ensure document preservation that aligns with evolving administrative and technical developments.

In response, al-Sayani expressed the Center's readiness to collaborate fully with the Customs Authority. He offered technical support to establish an integrated documentation database tailored to the specific needs of customs operations.

The meeting concluded with an agreement on the importance of forming a joint committee from both entities. This committee will assess the current status of documents and archives within the Authority and develop strategies and solutions to address any existing challenges.
