Sana’a: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Customs Authority and the Public Funds Investigation (PFI) was signed in Sana’a on Monday. The signing was conducted by Engineer Adel Merghem, the head of the Customs Authority, and Brigadier General Yousef Al-Qasimi, the Director of the Public Funds Investigation.
According to Yemen News Agency, the MoU encompasses cooperation in training and qualification, aligning concepts in legal and procedural matters, and exchanging data and information on joint cases electronically. It also includes provisions for mutual support based on work requirements, aiming towards network connectivity and automation between the two entities.
The memorandum seeks to bolster the partnership and cooperation between the Customs Authority and other entities involved in customs operations.
