Sana'a: On July 23, the US-Saudi-Emirati coalition continued its aggression by targeting populated areas and public and private property with a series of airstrikes, resulting in casualties and extensive damage. The attacks have been a recurring event on this day over several years, affecting various regions across Yemen.
According to Yemen News Agency, on July 23, 2015, airstrikes in the Haydan district of Sa'ada governorate claimed the lives of two civilians and injured five others, including a child. The coalition also targeted the Hayran area, resulting in further destruction. In the same year, the Dhamar Stadium in Dhamar governorate was hit, injuring three civilians. Multiple airstrikes were launched across the Sana'a, Marib, Abyan, Lahj, and Taiz governorates.
The following year, on July 23, 2016, airstrikes demolished homes in the Al-Ghail district of Jawf governorate and the Kahboub area in Lahj governorate. The coalition also targeted bridges in Amran and Hajjah governorates, and the aggression's mercenaries intensively shelled the Haradh and Midi districts.
By July 23, 2017, airstrikes had injured two women and a child in the Madan district of Amran governorate. The coalition also targeted a mosque and school, causing significant damage. Various districts in Marib, Saada, and Hajjah governorates suffered from airstrikes, resulting in damage to civilian property.
On July 23, 2018, airstrikes in Taiz governorate killed a man and his wife, while a child was killed in a mercenary attack in Lahj governorate. Saada governorate and other regions faced missile and artillery attacks that led to additional civilian casualties and destroyed property.
July 23, 2019, saw women injured in artillery shelling by mercenaries in the Hodeida governorate, while various areas in Saada governorate experienced missile and artillery attacks. The coalition continued its aggression with airstrikes in multiple districts across the country.
In 2020, the coalition's air force launched several raids on various districts, including Haradh in Hajjah governorate and Sirwah in Marib governorate. Hodeida governorate faced reconnaissance aircraft raids and artillery bombardments, causing further damage.
On July 23, 2021, airstrikes targeted the Na'at district in Bayda governorate, while mercenaries established combat fortifications and bombarded areas with artillery shells.
By 2022, two civilians were killed by a landmine in Jawf governorate, with aggressive air and artillery attacks continuing across multiple regions, including Dhale'a, Taiz, and Hodeida governorates.
Most recently, on July 23, 2023, reconnaissance aircraft launched attacks in Hodeida, while mercenaries shelled several areas with artillery and live ammunition, perpetuating the cycle of violence and destruction in Yemen.
