Deputy FM Engages with Iranian Ambassador in Sana’a to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Sana'a: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Abdul-Wahid Abu Ras met on Sunday with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Sana'a, Ali Mohammad Rezaei. The meeting addressed various areas of cooperation between Yemen and Iran, as well as the latest developments in the region.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the meeting, the Deputy Foreign Minister highlighted the latest developments on the national stage and the operations carried out by the Armed Forces in several districts of the West Coast-operations that culminated in victory, by the grace and success granted by Allah. He reiterated Yemen's full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran and its brotherly people in the face of ongoing American aggression.

Abu Ras expressed his aspiration to strengthen bilateral relations between Yemen and Iran across various fields in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both countries and their brotherly peoples. For his part, the Iranian Ambassador congratulated Yemen-its leadership, government, and people-on the major victory achieved. He commended Yemen's supportive stance toward Iran and the Axis of Resistance, affirming Iran's support for Yemen in its efforts to end the aggression and blockade and to achieve peace.
