Sanaa: Deputy Foreign Minister Abdulwahid Abu Ras on Monday affirmed that the Ministry is closely monitoring the ongoing negotiations in Cairo regarding the implementation of the Gaza Agreement. In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Deputy Foreign Minister said, "We emphasize to the mediators that their responsibility is compounded by the criminal entity's reneging on its commitments under the first phase of the agreement."
According to Yemen News Agency, Abu Ras pointed out that the mediators and guarantors have a responsibility to inform international public opinion transparently and impartially about the situation should the Zionist entity continue to commit its crimes and fail to fulfill its obligations. Abu Ras also stressed that the criminal entity must understand that its crimes against the Palestinian people will not go unpunished and that it is only deepening its own quagmire.
He added, "The Saudi regime must also realize that it will not distract Yemen from the central issue of the nation." He concluded, "We assure our Palestinian brothers in the resistance factions that we stand with them and beside them at every stage."
