Beirut: The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdulwahid Abu Ras, sent a congratulatory cable to Ammar Mousawi, the official of Arab and International Relations of Hezbollah, on the occasion of Resistance and Liberation Day.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Foreign Minister conveyed pride, appreciation, and congratulations to Ammar Mousawi and, through him, to the Secretary General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem. The message extended to all Lebanese revolutionary factions, components, and the Lebanese populace, marking the expulsion of the Israeli forces from southern Lebanon in 2000.
He further conveyed congratulations for both the occasion and the upcoming Eid al-Adha to Hezbollah's mujahideen, recognizing their ongoing efforts on Lebanese fronts. Abu Ras commended their actions, which he described as delivering heavy blows to the Israeli forces, signifying repeated defeats.
The Deputy Foreign Minister remarked that this anniversary strengthens belief in a promised third liberation, which he claimed would bring disgrace to the Israeli forces and their allies. He highlighted the current confrontations as evidence that Israeli forces are unable to establish a presence on Lebanese or future Palestinian territories.
Abu Ras reiterated Yemen's unwavering support for the Lebanese people and their resistance against what he described as continuous Zionist aggression.
