Hajjah: Deputy Minister of Electricity, Energy, and Water Adel Bader, alongside Hajjah Governor Hilal Al-Sufi and Executive Director of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit Eng. Shehab Al-Shami, reviewed progress on several service projects in the Washhah and Kushar districts.
According to Yemen News Agency, the officials inspected rural road projects both completed and under construction through community initiatives in these districts. They also examined a completed water project in Kusheir, which has been put into operation to improve water services in rural areas.
The officials received briefings from project supervisors about community-led initiatives aimed at opening and upgrading roads. These efforts seek to facilitate movement and improve access to essential services, aligning with broader objectives to enhance rural services and community stability.
A meeting was conducted with the deputy minister, governor, and the head of the emergency development unit, along with agricultural cooperative leaders, community figures, and local council representatives. Discussions focused on reinforcing community efforts, ensuring sustainable development projects, following up on the operation and management of the newly completed water project, and supporting ongoing community-driven road initiatives.
