Sana'a: The Deputy Minister of Civil Service for Systems, Policies, and Human Resources, Shukri Fara'a, inspected operations at the Public Telecommunications Corporation and the General Authority for Post and Postal Savings on the second day of work following the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Minister received a briefing from the Executive Director of the Public Telecommunications Corporation, Engineer Sadiq Musleh, on the level of employee discipline within the corporation and its branches, and the provision of telecommunications and internet services to citizens. Musleh explained that the corporation provides its services continuously, including during the Eid holiday, due to its direct connection with the public and to ensure a rapid response to maintenance work and any citizen complaints.
The Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of facilitating citizen transactions, improving service quality, and ensuring smooth and uninterrupted service delivery. He noted that employee discipline reflects a sense of responsibility and dedication to performing work and fulfilling the tasks assigned to the Public Telecommunications Corporation and its branches.
The Deputy Minister also reviewed operations at the General Authority for Post and Postal Savings and assessed the level of employee discipline. He listened to a presentation from the Deputy Director General of the Postal Authority for Branch Affairs, Ali Al-Mazroui, about the services provided by the Postal Authority through its offices spread across all districts and governorates, in addition to the electronic services via the "e-SADAD" platform, which connects all government services related to citizens.
Mr. Fara'a emphasized the importance of continuous development and modernization of postal and financial services at the General Postal Authority and improving the services provided to citizens. He was accompanied during the visits by the Director General of Organizational Development at the Ministry of Civil Service, Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Bakhiti, and the Director General of Development, Eidin Al-Ansi.
