Sana'a: The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdulwahid Abu Ras, discussed during his meeting today with the head of the ICRC mission in Sana'a, Christine Cipolla, the latest developments related to the prisoner file.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Minister listened to a briefing from the head of the mission on the latest developments and ongoing preparations for the anticipated prisoner release process. Abu Ras renewed Sana'a's appreciation for the role played by the ICRC mission in the prisoner file, affirming Sana'a's commitment to implementing the agreement on the ground and providing all necessary facilitation to ensure its success.
For her part, Christine Cipolla reaffirmed the ICRC mission's commitment to continuing to provide all possible aspects of support to the Yemeni people. She also praised the existing cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant government entities.
