Deputy Minister Reviews Orphan Care at Al-Rahma Foundation in Sana’a

Sana'a: The Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor for the Social Care Sector, Mohammed Uqabat, conducted an inspection at the Al-Rahma Foundation for Human Development in Sana'a, focusing on the conditions of orphan residents.

According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Uqabat evaluated the foundation's workflow and the array of services offered to residents, which include health, psychological, and educational care. He received a detailed briefing from the foundation's director, Ruqayah Al-Hajri, regarding the nature of the care provided to both male and female orphans and the ongoing efforts to ensure a suitable living environment for them.

The Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of meeting the needs of the orphans and involving them in the celebrations of Eid al-Adha. He reaffirmed the government's commitment to caring for orphans and addressing their needs as part of the broader principle of social solidarity, particularly during religious occasions.

During the visit, Deputy Uqabat was accompanied by the directors of financial affairs at the ministry, Sadiq Al-Ghaythi, media and relations, Essam Al-Hakim, and secretariat, Mohammed Dughar. Eid gifts were distributed to the foundation's residents, marking the occasion with a gesture of care and support.
