Sanaa: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdulwahid Abu Ras, discussed with the Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, areas of cooperation between the two ministries and ways to strengthen and further develop them.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting focused on humanitarian work and emphasized the need to address imbalances affecting the performance of some United Nations-affiliated organizations operating in Yemen. The discussion highlighted the importance of ensuring adherence to humanitarian principles and preventing the politicization of this issue.
The meeting also stressed the importance of enhancing existing coordination between the two ministries, particularly concerning projects implemented by organizations working in Yemen. Abu Ras and Al-Hamli reaffirmed the Government of Change and Reconstruction’s commitment to providing all necessary facilitation for organizations aiming to support the Yemeni people and contribute to alleviating the suffering caused by the ongoing aggression and blockade imposed on Yemen for the eleventh consecutive year.
