Al-Thawra Sports City:The Deputy Youth and Sports Minister, Nabih Nasser, has assessed the preparations for the upcoming September Equestrian Championship, specializing in show jumping. This event is organized by the General Equestrian and Camel Racing Federation and will take place at the equestrian arena in Al-Thawra Sports City.
According to Yemen News Agency, the championship is being organized under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, with financial support from the Youth Welfare Fund.
A technical meeting was held today, attended by officials from the federation, the judging committee, and heads of participating teams. Discussions focused on the competition regulations, drawing lots for the competition, arranging the order of riders' entries, and conducting veterinary checks on the horses.
Federation Assistant Secretary-General Jameel Bishr stated that the championship is part of the sports activities commemorating the anniversaries of the September 21 and September 26 revolutions. It also aligns with the federation's current season program aimed at promoting equestrian sports and increasing participation.
The event will feature riders from various institutions, including the Military College, Police College, Capital Club, Wahdat Sana'a Academy, Al-Habari Stud, Al-Sayani Stables, Jalab and Al-Dakam stables, and Al-Wahda in Al-Rahbah.
