Sana’a: The Government of Change and Construction continues its steady steps toward enhancing performance, improving public services, consolidating security and stability, and strengthening national unity in the face of all challenges and conspiracies targeting the country.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the past week, various activities and events reflected the steadfast will of the Yemeni people and their genuine positions in support of the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations-foremost among them the Palestinian cause. Mobilization meetings and solidarity rallies were held, expressing the deep Arab and Islamic identity and the sincere popular sentiment that never hesitates to stand with the oppressed, regardless of the sacrifices.
The government achieved significant progress in developing the electronic services system, promoting transparency, oversight, supporting economic, social projects, and improving the health and education sectors, all of which positively impact citizens’ lives. The week also featured a series of coordination meetings with local and international partners aimed at broadening cooperation, launching economic empowerment and awareness initiatives targeting youth, and productive families, establishing a new approach to managing sustainable development, and building institutional capacity in governorates and districts.
As part of the ‘Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad’ campaign in support of the Palestinian people, the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out 758 operations over the past two years, involving 1,835 ballistic, cruise, hypersonic missiles, drones, and naval operations. The naval forces conducted 346 operations against Israeli and other vessels violating the Yemeni-imposed ban on Israeli navigation across the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab Strait, the Gulf of Aden, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean-targeting more than 228 ships.
The President of the Supreme Political Council issued Decree No. (25) for the year 1447 AH, appointing Major General Yusuf Hassan Ismail al-Madani as Chief of the General Staff at the Ministry of Defense. The Armed Forces mourned the martyrdom of Major General Muhammad Abdul Karim al-Ghamari, former Chief of the General Staff, who was martyred-along with some of his companions and his son Hussein-during the U.S.-Israeli aggression on Yemen over the past two years of the ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ battle.
Meetings across governorates discussed mechanisms to strengthen mobilization, recruitment, and unity in confronting all schemes targeting the nation and to join open military training courses in preparation for any strategic decisions by the revolutionary leadership in confronting global arrogance. Throughout the week, popular rallies, marches, military parades, and combat demonstrations were held to mark the second anniversary of ‘Operation Al-Aqsa Flood’ and to express solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The Government of Change and Construction celebrated the 62nd anniversary of the glorious October 14 Revolution with a national ceremony featuring speeches and cultural presentations attended by the Acting Prime Minister. The Acting Prime Minister discussed with the Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development the ministry’s achievement report, which included the completion of the integration and modernization of public service units, preparation of organizational structures, simplification of procedures, and development of electronic services.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates congratulated the Palestinian people on the liberation of prisoners from Israeli jails as part of the exchange operation carried out under the terms set by the resistance. The Deputy Foreign Minister affirmed that U.S. President Donald Trump explicitly acknowledged that America is a partner in the genocidal crimes committed by the Zionist entity in Gaza, by providing it with all kinds of weapons and praising their ‘effective’ use. The Ministry also emphasized that the great Mujahid leader Yahya al-Sinwar has become a symbol of resistance and steadfastness, and will remain immortal in the memory of generations.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the International Cooperation Sector met with the Regional Director of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) for the Near and Middle East and the Head of the ICRC Mission in Yemen. The meeting discussed the latest humanitarian developments, relief efforts, and ways to enhance coordination mechanisms to ensure aid reaches the most vulnerable groups and alleviates human suffering.
The accomplishments achieved during the past week reflect the government’s commitment to improving public services, enhancing institutional performance, and supporting sustainable development across all governorates.
