Dhale’ Meeting Reviews New Neighborhood Unit Plans for Damt City

Dhale': A meeting in Dhale' governorate chaired by Dhale' acting governor Abdulatif al-Shaghdari discussed new neighborhood unit plans for the city of Damt and measures to prevent unplanned urban expansion.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by Director of the Land Authority branch Ali Al-Tam, Finance Office Director Adnan al-Jabri, and Public Works Office Director Hamdi al-Hadi. Al-Shaghdari highlighted the importance of implementing the urban plans and preventing random construction due to potential future challenges in service sectors.

He instructed the Public Works Office and the Land Authority branch to adhere to the approved master plans and complete surveying and boundary demarcation work. During the meeting, General Authority for Lands representative in Sana'a Hisham al-Qaradhi reviewed remarks from the Public Works Office in Dhale' and discussed necessary amendments for certain areas within several neighborhood units.

On the sidelines of the meeting, local authorities, the Public Works Office, and the Land Authority branch in Dhale' signed documents confirming the handover of 10 new neighborhood units for Damt City. Officials described this as the first joint measure among relevant authorities to ensure the protection of the planned neighborhood units.
