Dhamar Commemorates 11th Anniversary of September 21 Revolution with Water Sector Event

Dhamar: The Water Resources and Facilities Authority and the Rural Water Projects Authority in Dhamar governorate hosted a speech event on Sunday to mark the 11th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution. The gathering highlighted the significant impact of the revolution on Yemen's path to independent national decision-making and local capacity building.

According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor Mohammed Abdulrazzaq described the revolution as a crucial event in Yemen's modern history. He noted its role in restoring national sovereignty and emphasized its contributions to supporting Palestine and confronting external aggression.

Engineer Mohammed al-Qawsi, Director of the Rural Water Projects Authority, remarked on Yemen's achievements in various sectors despite facing aggression and blockade. He stated that the revolution is a continuation of the September 26 Revolution, contributing to economic, social, and cultural progress while enhancing the armed forces' capability in defending Palestine.

Guidance Officer Mohammed al-Dawla commented on the revolution's success in freeing Yemen from foreign domination and establishing a strong national army grounded in Quranic principles. He highlighted that this cultural identity has enabled Yemen to effectively defend its sovereignty across different domains.
