Dhamar Launches In-Kind Zakat Distribution Project to Aid Thousands

Dhamar: Undersecretary of Dhamar province Mahmood al-Jabin and First Undersecretary of the General Authority for Zakat Ali al-Saqqaf launched on Monday the project to distribute in-kind zakat from grain crops to the poor and needy in all districts. The initiative aims to assist 24,718 families by providing them with essential grains.

According to Yemen News Agency, the project involves the distribution of 24,718 cups of various types of grains to 24,718 beneficiary families across the province. This initiative is part of the broader efforts by local authorities to address the needs of vulnerable populations.

Officials emphasized the importance of performing Zakat and highlighted the efforts of Zakat Authority in providing assistance to those in need. The project is seen as a crucial step in alleviating poverty and improving the economic conditions of vulnerable families.

The event coincided with the anniversary of the martyr leader Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, underscoring the importance of social responsibility and supporting those in need.
