Dhamar Residents Mobilize Against Escalation

Dhamar:Residents of Dhamar city and surrounding areas convened an armed tribal gathering on Sunday under the slogan 'Mobilization and readiness to confront escalation with escalation.'

According to Yemen News Agency, Dhamar Governor Mohammed al-Bukaiti emphasized that Yemen is at a pivotal juncture in its pursuit of full sovereignty and independence, aiming to become a significant regional and international player. He asserted that ongoing Saudi aggression would not succeed in its aims and underscored that the confrontation would persist until Yemen's sovereignty is fully restored.

Dhamar General Mobilization official Ahmed al-Dhorani noted that the gathering was part of a wider tribal mobilization effort to respond to escalation. He highlighted the ongoing popular mobilization and the support being provided to the frontlines with personnel and resources.

Mohammed al-Saiqal, Director of Dhamar City, stated that residents had declared a general mobilization, signaling their complete readiness to defend the country, end the aggression, and lift the blockade. He added that preparations and training for the mobilization forces had engaged various community segments.

Sheikh Mohammed Dhuafan, representing local tribal leaders, reiterated their continued mobilization and readiness to address escalation and uphold national sovereignty and independence.

Participants in the gathering expressed their readiness to assist the armed forces in confronting aggression and the blockade, committing personnel, arms, and resources. They also reaffirmed their support for the Palestinian cause and the defense of Islamic holy sites, particularly Al-Aqsa Mosque.
