Sana'a: Preparatory activities for commemorating the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday (Mawlid) for the year 1448 AH were launched on Thursday in Wosab Al-Safil district of Dhamar governorate. Speaking at the launch, District Director Fuad Al-Qadimi described the occasion as an opportunity to draw inspiration from the Prophet's values and moral example, encouraging broad participation in the preparatory events and activities to be held across government institutions and local communities ahead of the central celebration.
According to Yemen News Agency, Ali Abbas, the mobilization official for the district's western sector, highlighted the role of mosque preachers and religious guides in promoting religious values, social solidarity, and community awareness during the commemoration. He also described the anniversary as an opportunity to reinforce Islamic values, encourage charitable initiatives, and support vulnerable members of society while strengthening community participation.
