Dhammar: An extensive meeting was held on Tuesday in Dhammar governorate to prepare for the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan and to launch the Ramadan program for the year 1447 AH. The meeting included a review of various activities and initiatives aimed at spiritually and socially benefiting the community during the holy month.
According to Yemen News Agency, in the presence of Dhammar undersectary Mahmoud al-Jabeen, Ahmed al-Dhorani, the Public Mobilization Official in the governorate, highlighted the significance of both psychological and practical preparations for Ramadan. Al-Dhorani emphasized that these preparations should align with the month's core goal of purifying the soul, elevating spiritual devotion, and strengthening the connection with Allah through worship and acts of charity.
The Ramadan program includes activities focused on reviving mosques with worship and remembrance. A strong emphasis has been placed on using this time to evaluate oneself, recognize any shortcomings, and sincerely return to Allah seeking forgiveness and mercy. Al-Dhorani also called for cleanliness campaigns across the districts, villages, and mosques, urging collective participation and focusing on social solidarity, particularly assisting the poor and needy.
He encouraged traders and philanthropists to support charitable kitchens during Ramadan and to maintain public mobilization efforts while strengthening security vigilance and readiness for any potential future challenges. Meanwhile, Faisal Al-Hothfi, Director of the General Authority for Endowments in Dhammar, reviewed the activities of the Ramadan program. He stressed the importance of utilizing the month to purify the soul, strengthen willpower, and stay committed to the path of righteousness.
Al-Hothfi also pointed out the educational, health, and spiritual benefits of Ramadan, urging everyone to deepen their connection to the Quran and embody its teachings through action. He encouraged active participation in the "Purify My House" campaign and called for reviving mosques through prayer, Quran recitation, and listening to the lectures of the Leader of the Revolution. He emphasized the need to make Ramadan a time for discipline, internal self-monitoring, and strengthening one's bond with Allah.
