Al-Dhale’e: Al-Dhu Raidan Sports, Cultural, and Social Club celebrated its 50th anniversary by organizing two football matches.
According to Yemen News Agency, the first match brought together the teams of Qutayba School and Martyr Ghalib Al-Dhahiri School, while the second match was between Al-Dhu Raidan Damt Club and Shabab Jabin Club. In the first match, Qutayba Bin Muslim School’s team won over Martyr Al-Dhahiri School’s team in a penalty shootout after a 3-3 draw. In the second match, Shabab Jabin Club managed to claim victory against Dhu Ridan Damt Club in another penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw.
Following the matches, the Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate, Masad Al-Dhahiri, awarded the championship cup to Qutayba Bin Muslim School and the runner-up cup to Martyr Ghalib Al-Dhahiri School. Additionally, Shabab Jabin Club was honored with the championship cup and Dhu Ridan Damt Club received the second-place prize.
The event was attended by the Director of Security for Damt District, Colonel Hashim Al-Sharif, the Head of the Central Security Branch in the governorate, Colonel Najm Al-Din Al-Gharbani, the Deputy Director of the Economy and Industry Office, Saleh Rabih, the President of Damt Association, Masad Al-Gharbani, and several youth, sports, and social figures.
