Sanaa: A meeting chaired by the Secretary of the Capital, Dr. Hamoud Abad, discussed on Saturday the workflow of the Unit for Financing Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives in the Capital Secretariat. The meeting, which included various officials such as Head of the Social Affairs Committee of the Secretariat, Hamoud Al-Naqib, Undersecretary for Agricultural Affairs Mohammed Saree, and Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office Nasser Al-Kahli, focused on reviewing the unit’s work mechanisms, administrative and technical performance, and ongoing projects funded by the Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit.
According to Yemen News Agency, the discussions also highlighted the challenges facing the projects and the importance of improving the performance and discipline within the unit. The meeting emphasized strengthening administrative and technical work mechanisms to tackle these challenges effectively. Dr. Abad stressed the necessity of redoubling efforts and accelerating the implementation of agricultural and developmental projects. The establishment of cooperative societies and economic empowerment were also underlined as crucial aspects of the project plan for the Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in the Capital Secretariat.
