Discussing Arrangements for Receiving Al-Ihsan Hospital for Disabled and Conditions of Workers

Sana’a: Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Samir Bajaala met today with Deputy Minister of Health and Environment Dr. Nasher Al-Qaoud to discuss the final preparations for the opening of Al-Ihsan Hospital in Sana’a City. This hospital is designed to serve individuals with disabilities, as well as those who are poor and in need.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, which was attended by Deputy Director of Medical Services Dr. Zakaria Al-Hamas, focused on the importance of continued coordination and efforts to complete the hospital. The officials emphasized that the facility represents a significant step forward and a critical development in social and health services.

In addition to the hospital discussions, Minister Bajaala engaged with leaders of the Executive Office of the Yemeni Workers Union, including its head Ali Bamhaison and Secretary-General Abdul Karim Al-Azma, to address workers’ conditions. They discussed the collaborative role between the ministry and the union to improve the business environment and the drafting of a memorandum of understanding on mutual concerns.

The minister highlighted the necessity of safeguarding all workers’ legal rights across various institutions, government departments, and the private sector. He remarked on the indispensable role of workers in nation-building and stressed the importance of preserving their rights and motivating them to continue their contributions to the country.
