Discussing Historic Cities Preservation Authority Progress

Sana’a: The Board of the Public Authority for the Preservation of Historic Cities (PAHC) convened to discuss the progress of projects facilitated by donor contributions, with PAHC Chairman Abdul Wahab Al Mahdi presiding over the meeting. The session focused on reviewing the numerous projects and initiatives carried out in collaboration with various partners, as well as reports related to the Authority’s operations, departmental activities, and the challenges encountered.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting addressed the obstacles facing the Authority’s work and explored strategies to enhance and improve performance in the coming period. The gathering, which included the Authority’s undersecretaries and general managers, highlighted the efforts made by the employees in preserving cultural heritage and civilization.

The head of the Authority expressed appreciation for the dedication of all employees and underscored the significance of collective efforts in preserving historical sites and cities. The discussion aimed to strategize on improving the preservation efforts to uphold the cultural legacy of the historic locations.
