Ibb: A meeting in Ibb province, chaired on Monday by Undersecretary for Tourism Harith Al-Maliki, discussed the preparatory measures for the Ramadan program and the outcomes of the expanded meeting of tourism leaders for the year 1446 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting reviewed ways to activate the tourism sector in coordination with local authorities, relevant authorities, the mechanism to improve performance, collect financial resources, and overcome the difficulties that hinder the workflow.
For his part, Ghanem Awsaj, head of the tourism sector in the province, discussed the mechanism for implementing the main guidelines and the Ramadan program. He emphasized the importance of taking advantage of the daily valuable lessons of the Revolution Leader to strengthen people’s connection to the Holy Qur’an and the guidance of God Almighty, while adhering to the identity and culture of faith.
He also stressed the importance of simplifying procedures for granting tourism licenses, establishing an integrated information base, and addressing imbalances to contribute to achieving sustainable tourism development.
