Hajjah: The Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim and the Governor of Hajjah Hailal al-Soufi discussed aspects related to a matrix for addressing and maintaining a number of roads in the governorate. During the meeting, Governor Al-Soufi, which included the Chairman of the Road Maintenance Fund Engineer Nabil al-Haifi, and the Director General of the Public Corporation for Roads and Bridges Abdulrahman al-Hadrami, along with mobilization official Hamoud al-Maghribi, reviewed roads that were damaged by heavy rainfall floods, are in need of maintenance and rehabilitation in the districts of Tehama, Aahm, Al-Sharqayn, and the city center.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the meeting, the Minister of Transport and Public Works directed the preparation of the necessary studies, with maintenance works to begin according to priority after the end of the rainy season. He stressed the importance of implementing road projects in line with available resources, in a way that alleviates citizens' suffering and improves service delivery.
For his part, Hajjah Governor praised the attention and cooperation of the Minister of Transport and Public Works, and his commitment to meeting the governorate's needs in road projects, commending the role of both the Road Maintenance Fund and the Public Corporation for Roads and Bridges in this regard.
