Sana'a: A meeting held on Sunday in Sana'a, chaired by Minister of Oil and Minerals Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir, discussed ways and mechanisms for implementing the directives of the Ministry of Civil Service regarding the Code of Job Conduct and Work Ethics.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included members of the unified team for the Code of Job Conduct at the Ministry of Oil and its affiliated units, as well as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Development for the Inspection and Evaluation Sector, Al-Ezzi Al-Hattami. They reviewed the necessary procedures and steps to strengthen compliance with the provisions of the code. The focus was on consolidating the values of integrity, discipline, transparency, and job responsibility across various units of the Ministry of Oil and its affiliated entities. This effort aims to enhance institutional performance and improve the level of services provided.
The participants agreed to assign each unit within the ministry to prepare its own plan for implementing the Code of Job Conduct according to its tasks and competencies. The unified team will then prepare a comprehensive annual plan that includes programs, activities, and performance indicators covering the ministry and its affiliated units. This plan is intended to ensure unified efforts and optimal implementation of the code's directives across the oil and mineral sector.
The Minister of Oil emphasized the importance of effectively implementing the Code of Job Conduct as one of the key tools for strengthening the institutional work environment and consolidating principles of governance and job commitment. He also stressed the need for integration between the Ministries of Oil and Civil Service to achieve the desired objectives.
