Sana'a: The Supreme Supervisory Committee for the Fourth National Renewable Energy Conference and Exhibition 2026 discussed organizational and preparatory arrangements, the proposed budget, and the event schedule during a meeting chaired by Sana'a University President and committee member Dr. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, attended by Deputy Minister of Electricity and Energy for the Electricity Sector and Head of the Preparatory Committee Eng. Ahmed Al-Mutawakel, Vice Chairman of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry Mohammed Salah, and representatives of supervisory, organizational, private-sector, and relevant bodies, also reviewed the possibility of changing the exhibition venue.
Participants examined several organizational and technical aspects via video conference as part of ongoing preparations for the conference and exhibition.
Dr. Al-Bukhaiti praised the efforts of the various committees, stressing the importance of continued coordination among participating entities to ensure the success of the scientific and national event. He also highlighted the achievements of the Third National Renewable Energy Conference and Exhibition held in 2023 and emphasized building on that experience to further enhance organization and participation in the upcoming edition.
Following the meeting, participants visited the proposed exhibition site at the Faculty of Agriculture, Sana'a University, and reviewed preparations for hosting the event.
