Amran: A meeting was held on Saturday at the branch of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families in Amran Governorate, chaired by Governor Dr. Faisal Jamaan, to discuss the projects and activities that the Authority will implement on the 1447 AH Martyrs' Anniversary.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, attended by the Director of the Governorate branch of the Authority, Ibrahim Al-Nunu, and representatives of the Authority's offices in the districts, reviewed arrangements for launching the events commemorating this anniversary.
Governor of Amran stressed the importance of coordinating with local councils and executive offices to hold the anniversary events in a manner befitting the greatness of the martyrs. He highlighted the significance of recalling the martyrs' deeds and sacrifices and renewing the pledge to follow their path in defending the homeland.
He pointed out that honoring the martyrs is reflected in caring for their families and emphasized that everyone bears responsibility in supporting them and addressing their needs. He urged full participation in commemorating this occasion and contributing to raising awareness about current challenges.
Meanwhile, the Director of the Governorate branch of the Authority reviewed the Authority's branches' work plan, the mechanism for forming committees, implementing field visit programs to martyrs' families, and preparations for commemorating the Martyrs' Anniversary. He emphasized the importance of instilling the significance of martyrdom in the hearts of future generations by highlighting the martyrs' sacrifices.
