Al-sawd: The First Deputy Governor of Amran Abdulaziz Abu Kharfashah discussed on Sunday with a number of sheikhs and community leaders from Al-Sawd and Al-Sawdah districts preparations and mobilization efforts for the annual Muhammadi Festival, scheduled for Rabi' al-Awwal 12, marking the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting addressed the governorate's and districts' general plan for commemorating the religious occasion in a manner befitting its significance, the status of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. Abu Kharfashah affirmed the governorate's commitment to supporting mobilization efforts for the commemoration, describing the Prophet's birth anniversary as a major occasion for drawing lessons and inspiration from the life and teachings of the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers.
He stressed the need to strengthen public mobilization at the venues in Amran City and Hawth District to reflect Yemenis' joy at the arrival of the annual religious occasion, which has been commemorated for generations. The First Deputy Governor expressed hope that community figures and leaders would play their role in supporting mobilization efforts and highlighting the celebrations marking this important religious occasion across the governorate.
