Sana'a: The Board of Directors of the Cardiac and Catheterization Center at Al-Kuwait Hospital held a meeting today, chaired by the President of Sana'a University and Chairman of the Board, Dr. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, to review the center's performance and discuss its future plans.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by key figures including the University's Assistant for Centers Affairs Dr. Zaid Al-Warith, Assistant for Hospitals Affairs Dr. Abdulhafiz Thawab, Center Director Dr. Salah Al-Shawki, and Deputy Director Dr. Nader Al-Amri. The Board approved new pricing rates for all types of catheterization procedures, along with special privileges for members of the Martyrs, Wounded, and Prisoners' Families Foundation, as well as faculty and administrative staff at Sana'a University.
The Board further approved the formation of a committee tasked with drafting the specification documents for two new programs: the Echocardiography Diploma and the Cardiac Nursing Diploma. These documents will be submitted to the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center for review, before being referred to other relevant councils for final approval.
Additionally, with the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Mohammed Al-Shahari, the Board agreed to organize a specialized scientific conference in cardiology in the middle of next year. This conference aims to promote research and academic exchange in this vital field.
The participants also emphasized the importance of launching the Center's official website to enhance digital services and communication with beneficiaries. The meeting concluded with the review and approval of the minutes from the previous session.
