Discussion on Promoting Investment & Addressing Commercial Sector Issues in Dhamar

Dhamar: A meeting was held on Thursday in Dhamar Governorate, chaired by Governor Mohamed al-Bukhaiti, to discuss strengthening investment efforts and addressing the challenges facing the commercial sector in the governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by Brigadier General Saleh Haheb, Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region, Brigadier General Mohamed al-Mahdi, the Governorate's Chief of Security, several executive office leaders, and representatives of the commercial sector. Governor al-Bukhaiti emphasized the interest of the Revolution Leader and the political leadership in providing a conducive environment for investment and enhancing the role of the commercial sector as a partner in the development process.

He highlighted that any true renaissance cannot be achieved without a genuine partnership between the state and society, supported by strong will and a strategic vision, praising the interaction and cooperation of the people of Dhamar.

The governor also touched upon efforts to reform state institutions, develop education and link its outputs to the needs of productive, industrial sectors, consolidate security, social peace, justice, and fairness.

Governor al-Bukhaiti stressed the importance of strengthening coordination between traders and relevant government authorities, affirming the local authority's commitment to facilitating investment opportunities across all fields and addressing any challenges facing the commercial sector.

For his part, Mohamed Dadieh, Chairman of the Governorate's Chamber of Commerce and Industry, highlighted the commercial sector's role in promoting development and confronting challenges, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts to overcome obstacles faced by traders, especially importers.

He affirmed the commercial sector's commitment to working in accordance with the visions and goals set by the government, praising the convening of this meeting as a reflection of the local authority's dedication to addressing the commercial sector's issues in the public interest.
