Taiz: A broad meeting chaired by Acting Governor of Taiz Ahmed Al-Masawi discussed the security plan for the 1447 AH Prophet's Birthday celebrations.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, which included the Governorate's Police Chief, Brigadier General Shukri Mahyoub, Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region, Brigadier General Nour Al-Din Al-Marani, and Mobilization Official Mohammed Al-Khalidi, reviewed the plan aimed at securing all events to be held in the governorate, including the main celebration on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal.
Al-Masawi emphasized the importance of starting implementation of the security plan to ensure the safety of celebrations, evening events, and seminars related to the occasion. He stated that commemorating the Prophet's Birthday reflects adherence to the faith-based identity and strong connection to the Messenger of Allah.
The Acting Governor praised the efforts of all security personnel in maintaining security and stability, urging heightened readiness and vigilance in carrying out all assigned duties. He also stressed the need for all residents of the governorate to recognize their responsibility in cooperating with security agencies to ensure the success of the celebrations.
For his part, the Police Chief confirmed readiness to secure the events and the coordination between various security agencies and units to ensure their success. He noted that a 'Police Guide' had been distributed to security personnel, containing instructions to embody faith-based values and Qur'anic principles, thereby enhancing the performance of security forces.
