Al-dhale: A meeting in Al-Husha' District in Al-Dhale Governorate, chaired today by the Acting Governor Abdullatif Al-Shaghdri, discussed the district's needs for service projects. The meeting, attended by the Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region, Brigadier General Saleh Hajib, addressed the role of community initiatives in implementing agricultural projects and maintaining dams, barriers, and water breakwaters.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the meeting, Al-Shaghdri emphasized the necessity of rehabilitating dams and water barriers, establishing a genuine partnership between the community and the Al-Husha' Development Association for land reclamation, and working within the framework of value chain programs to achieve self-sufficiency. He stressed the importance of activating community initiatives to advance the agricultural sector and enhance national resilience in this aspect.
Meanwhile, the District Director Ahmed Sufyan reviewed the most important completed and ongoing projects in the maintenance of dams and barriers. In the same context, the Acting Governor inspected the progress of work in a number of agricultural projects and the cleaning of dams and water barriers, as well as the expansion of the 'Amara Uzla line from Al-Sha'atha towards Dhuran, the district capital.
