Sana'a: The distribution of 1,500 Eid bags for the poor, needy, frontline fighters, families of martyrs, wounded, and prisoners was launched today in the Al-Hatarish neighborhood, Bani Al-Harith District, Capital Secretariat, through an initiative by the neighborhood's merchants and the Mobilization Office in the Secretariat.
According to Yemen News Agency, the distribution of Eid bags, now in its eighth year, is part of the charity projects in Al-Hatarish neighborhood, phase three. This charitable initiative responds to the call of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to enhance social solidarity and care for the poor and needy.
During the launch, the Mobilization Official in Al-Hatarish neighborhood, Mohammed Al-Ma'khadhi, explained that distributing Eid bags to the targeted families on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr is part of implementing charity projects to help poor and needy families through community initiatives and support from the neighborhood's merchants. He noted the role of the charitable initiative in supporting the families of martyrs, the wounded, and the poor, and alleviating their suffering, especially under the difficult circumstances the country is going through due to the aggression.
