Bani al-harith: Shura Council member Adel Al-Hanbasi inaugurated on Sunday the distribution of 500 food baskets to needy families in the neighborhoods of Bir Zahir, Al-Hama, Al-Tayaran, and western Al-Rahba in Bani Al-Harith District of the Capital Secretariat, with contributions from philanthropists.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the launch, Al-Hanbasi emphasized that distributing food baskets comes within the framework of social responsibility and in implementation of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badreddin Al-Houthi, and the government to promote community solidarity through acts of charity and support for the poor and needy.
He pointed out that charitable initiatives directly address the needs of disadvantaged families and reflect the commitment of all social segments and benefactors to cooperation and solidarity in Bani Al-Harith and other districts of the Capital Secretariat, through distributing food baskets and supporting charitable kitchens and bakeries.
Al-Hanbasi also called on philanthropists and businessmen to continue supporting the needs of poor families by providing food baskets throughout the year, as well as distributing Eid clothing to needy community members to bring joy to their hearts.
